Kate and Graham Brodie's Big Boat and Bicycle Bash
In 2022, Kate and Graham sailed and cycled together around the UK to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. They raised almost £12,000!
Kate is a lifelong sailor and Graham is a long distance cyclist. In 2020 Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer and throughout the Covid pandemic had treatment which was thankfully successful. During chemotherapy, she bought a new boat and dreamed of sailing around the UK - but as Graham prefers cycling he rode along the coast! With clever planning, they were able to meet up each night.
