The Bar

The TSC bar is a well-stocked and friendly place to share a drink with friends at remarkably little cost.

The Bar Manager keeps a great selection of draught ales, wines and soft drinks. He can often respond to requests.

Do come along to enjoy a drink with other members - or bring other friends along too (club rules permit up to two guests at any time).

• The bar is normally open on Wednesday evenings throughout the year from 20:30 to 22:30.
• On Friday evenings throughout the year, the bar normally opens at 18:30 to enable members and guests to share a self-caterer supper and have a drink (the club's galley facilities will be available). It closes at 22:30.
• On race nights in the summer, the bar and galley open to fuel post-race socialising for participants from the Cruiser, Yawl or Dinghy Fleets. Opening depends on the time of the first boat home but, as on other evenings, the bar normally closes at around 22.30.

The bar relies on the voluntary efforts of members who take it in turns to a 'duty'.
