Club Dinghies

We have six Club sailing dinghies for use by any adult member or cadet with parental supervision. The newest are the two Wayfarers bought to help with sail training. There are also two Toppers and two Laser Picos which are tough and forgiving little boats and ideal for practising the basic skills of sailing. These can be booked out as per the instructions given on The Club page under "Tips for members on using SCM". Alternatively, watch out for Open Sailing sessions with Safety boat cover. These can be signed up for by contacting the Dinghy Captain at dinghycaptain@topsham-sc.org.uk

Club members taking a dinghy out when there is no organised Club activity or safety cover provided are advised to check the weather forecast, be aware of the tidal situation, carry a means of communication and a paddle,and notify someone ashore of your plans. This option is only advised for experienced sailors
