Accepting Duties

For the smooth running of the club, is important that members 'accept' each allocated duty. This acknowledges that the allocated duty has been seen.

Accepting a duty is carried out within the Members' Portal at the My Duties section. If you are unsure how to log into the Members' Portal, please look at the advice under The Club on this website.

To find My Duties, just scroll down a little bit until you see a table of highlighted links. My Duties is centrally located, on the 4th row down.

Within My Duties, you will see your name listed, and can check the allocated dates. Then, click on 'Accept'.

If you are able to do the duty at the allocated time, then that is all you need to do. However, you then also have the opportunity to seek a swap if the duty is inconvenient.

As a club entirely supported by volunteers, if is not possible for a member to carry out an allocated duty, it is his or her responsibility to arrange a swap or a transfer. For information on this, see 'Swapping Duties' on the left hand menu.
