Punts / inflatables / kayaks / sailing dinghies / canoes / stand up paddle boards / outboard motors £20.00

A) Sailing Dinghies

Applications for Sailing Dinghy Storage are administered by the Dinghy Captain. A list of storage requests is compiled using information submitted online after a form is sent out by email in January. All dinghies need an efficient and adequate launching trolley, but Toppers and similar boats are stored on racks so the trolley must also fit onto the rack. All vessels must be covered by insurance and it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that all their gear is properly maintained and marked clearly with their name. Only monohulls are permitted.

B) Canoes, Kayaks Paddleboards etc.

A limited amount of space is available for the storage of canoes kayaks or paddle boards of moderate length over the summer period utilizing a section of the rack. Applications are managed by the Dinghy Captain in a similar manner to Sailing dinghies. All must be nearly marked with the owners name.

C) Punts - The racks will accommodate punts up to 9 feet in length (2.85m) Larger craft will be refused storage.

All rigid rowing dinghies and inflatables are classified as Punts. Summer storage for Members punts is available on racks erected in the Yard.

Application is made by electronically -please advise us if you have not received a request to submit an application before the end of March each year . The Yard Marshal administers the storage of punts

There is a metal rack for storing small outboard motors(up to 4hp) which must be clearly marked with the owners name. Locks are the responsibility of the owner. No fuel storage cans may be left in the Yard.
