Welcome to Topsham Sailing Club
Hello there!
Topsham Sailing Club has nestled at the bottom of Exe Street for over 100 years. If you would like to find out more about 'getting on the water' in Topsham, we hope that our big old gates will not put you off coming in to say 'hello'!
The club house is usually open all year round on Friday evenings and on other days in the summer after races when the tide suits us.
We also have a new website (you knew that! - you are using it now) and we would be happy for you to browse the public part of the site and contact any of the committee for more information.
The club caters for all ages, from babes in arms up to 90 year olds at present. We seek to support sailing of all sorts and we have members with cruising yachts, Devon Yawls, dinghies of various sizes, and many of our members also use the yard to launch smaller craft like kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Many of these vessels are used for racing but the club is equally home to those who wish to potter or cruise.
The club has always been a self-help establishment and we have no paid staff. This means everyone gets a chance to volunteer to support our racing and social activities.
Come and see us or give us a call if you would like to try out the water.
